Commissioning an original painting can be an excellent way to commemorate an event, reward a friend, or obtain a unique and valuable decorative addition to home or office. With the price of "limited" edition prints ranging to $100 and more, the additional cost of owning a true original is quite reasonable.
A New Program!
Starting today, and lasting until June 1, 2008, I will
honor commission requests in a new, experimental fashion. If you make a
commission payment of $75, I will add you to the list below using your PayPal
transaction # and the amount paid. I will start doing commissions at the top of
the list. The amount you have paid at the time I begin your painting will be
your Total payment! You will be
listed in the order that your payment is received. If you would like to move up
the list, you may make a higher payment and be listed higher than anyone who has
made a lower payment. You may make an additional payment at any time, and be
moved to the appropriate level on the list. All payments must be in multiples of
$5, i.e. $10 is OK but $2.75 is not. The top person on the list will always be
the commission "in progress". When that painting is complete, I will notify the
next person on the list and begin his/her commission at the price listed. If you
are lucky, an early subscriber, or patient, you will get an original painting
for $75.
Paintings commissioned under this program are limited to a maximum of 18"x 24" in size.
This program will end early if the subscription numbers result in such a backlog that waiting times become excessive.
